Video Summary
AANN and ABNN introduced the Neuro APP Certificate Program, launching in July, to strengthen advanced practice providers’ neuroscience knowledge and support evidence-based care across settings. Developed with input from APPs and volunteer contributors, the self-paced online course includes 13 modules covering foundational neuroscience, assessment and diagnosis, cerebrovascular and neurocritical care, trauma, epilepsy, spine, neuro-oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, infectious and immune-related conditions, neuromuscular care, pediatric and geriatric topics, and ethical and legal practice.

The program is designed for APPs entering neuroscience or expanding into a new specialty, but other healthcare professionals may also take it. Learners receive at least 12 continuing education hours, including pharmacology credit. APPs who pass an 80-question post-assessment with at least 80% (up to three attempts) can earn a Certificate of Added Qualification and digital badge. Course access lasts six months; the certificate is valid for three years and requires 30 hours of relevant APP continuing education for renewal.

The announced price is $300 for members and $450 for nonmembers, with group discounts and a 10% webinar-attendee pre-order discount.
